CS Review

The class covered mostly everything I had prior knowledge on about the internet search engine and Microsoft Office. Through the search engine and Microsoft Office projects, I was able to pick up small tips that could help me using the program more easily and efficiently. With my fist blog, the features and the assignments have opened up my mind and allowed me to speak my mind through the internet. The repetition of the Microsoft Office projects had made the class very bland. Suggestion: Create more short assignments/ games (like search engine) to help keep everyone interested, using competition.

Innovative Learning

Technology in the classroom has to become a necessity in the nearest future. The availability of internet access will spread the spectrum of knowledge and curriculum that a student will be open to. The internet has billions of resources that will unlock knowledge. The internet is basically the easiest way to gain information about anything and everything. Sure, in a room full of teens, the internet can provide that disturbance. At times, it will take away the learning experience of a student, but students should not be robbed of a new innovative way of learning.

Web Apps

There are many online applications that can help students learn outside of the classroom. Schoology is an app that helps people with communications while using a simple social media user interface. Another good app is Quizinator, this app is designed for teachers who are looking to create worksheets that can be easily printed for their students. If you need to get organized than the best app for you out there is probably Notely, an app that organizes students and their hectic schedules. After all the work you do a good app to use for fun is GameVee, an app that allows the user to promote their own game and find other games to play. If that isn't good enough for you then you can use ChessKid, a game that allows you to play chess with people all around the world.

The Internet allows people to view a wide variety of things at your fingertips. The Internet is the only source of  a variety of insights that are accessible at any time of the day. Without the Internet, we are limit to the information that is portrayed in the newspaper, conversations, and on our television set.

Review: Horrible Bosses

“Horrible Bosses” is very funny.  It takes the ordinary human traits of stupidity, selfishness,  and greed (and also stupidity), embeds them in a human characteristics that is confusing, unfair and also stupid, and turns the whole sorry spectacle into a carnival. The laughter is mean but also oddly pure: it expels shame and leaves you feeling dizzy. It is comedy greatness.

Infleunce

I am highly influenced by MLK. Martin Luther King Jr. was an American clerhyman, activist, and prominent leader in the Civil Right Movement. He is best known for his role in the advancement of civil right in the United States and around the world, using non-violent methods following the teachings of Gandhi. King has become a national icon in the history of modern American liberalism.

What Grinds Your Gears

Dishonesty. Dishonesty is one of those things that highly upset mad. When someone has borrowed something from me and/or I have allow to do or use something of mine, I expect them to have the decencies to respect what I did for them. But then they happen to make a mistake and feel the need to be dishonest. What grinds my gears is them lying and knowing that I do not believe their fib. But they still choose to be dishonest. Why? When I allow someone to use something that belongs to me, I expect them to treat that item with care and respect. But when it returns to me in a poor condition, I feel disrespected.

Importance of a RESUME

Consuming a resume and a cover letter  about yourself and your past experiences in the workforce is to find an employer. In the workforce, there is a high demand for employees despite the nation's economic status. There are also plenty of people in search of those jobs. It is a large competition. The only way one can distinguish oneself from others is being have documentation. That is where a resume and a cover letter steps in. The resume gives employers finding for workers background information, experiences, and contact information. Safety on Social Media

You must be safe on the web to protect yourself from cyber bullies and stalkers. On social medias like Facebook and Twitter, one must set restrictions on your profile to hide your identity from those cyber bullies. Adding personal information, such as: your phone number, social security number, address, and more, can lead to identity theft and fraud. It basically allows strangers to track you down. Also for protection on social media, think about your posts. Everything you say on the Internet will never be deleted, becoming exposed to the whole world. Everything you post you will be held accountable for it. Just keep in mind that someone is always watching.

the Nats are back

Baseball has returned to the Nation's Capital. The  Washington Nationals  for the past five years have been at the bottom of the every MLB standing and a disappointment in DC. With a 80-81 finish in another "rebuilding" year, the Nats have sparked hope in Washington. With the addition of Gio Gonzalez and the return of the phenom Stephen Strausburg , things look good for the Nats in the upcoming season.
